Punjab Culture Day 2023 Celebrated by Department of Art & Design Department of Art and Design GCWUF arranged an event ??? ???????????? ???? ????????????? on Punjab Culture Day on 17th of March, 2022. The students of Art and Design department reflected the Punjabi culture. Girls arranged bangle stalls and sang songs on dholak. The students participated in the culture day ceremony wearing traditional cultural attires. The students presented Luddi and Bhangra also. HOD of Art and Design Department Ms. Tuba Najam welcomed the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq (T.I), Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, Controller Examination Ms. Rizwana Tanveer and other faculty members to the department and accompanied them to culture day stalls. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq said that such events are very important to make the students active and get themselves oriented with our cultural roots. Stalls of halwa puri, paan and lassi were also set up for the students. Teachers Ms. Zain Manzoor and Sadia Mehmood, who organized the culture day, said that in this era of social media, the purpose of organizing such a sit-in is to bring the students closer to their culture.
